Rio- A criminal was arrested after robbing and trying to attack victims at the Central Railway Station of Brazil, in the early evening of Saturday (27). According to the Military Police, the man, who has not yet been identified, was captured by police officers from the Railway Police Group (GPFer) after committing the crime.
Two bottles, two cell phones and documents were seized from the criminal. He was taken to the 5th DP (Mem de Sá), where he will give a statement and remain at the disposal of the Rio Courts. The victims were not injured and are doing well.
Police officers from the 19th DP (Tijuca) and agents from Metrô Rio located the suspect after crossing information from the police station’s intelligence sector with the concessionaire. Joe Bernardo was taken to the 19th DP, where, after analyzing the images, his temporary arrest was represented.
