England – Sir Jim Ratcliffe, owner of 25% of Manchester United’s shares, made strong criticisms after visiting the Old Trafford stadium and the club’s Training Center. According to reports in the newspapers “The Guardian” and “The Athletic”, he sent an email to order changes to the facilities.

“I had a good tour of some of the facilities. I was shocked in several places by a high level of disorganization. In particular, in the IT department, which is a disgrace, and the under-18 and under-21 changing rooms are not very better”, says an excerpt from Ratcliffe’s email.

The leader is one of the richest men in the United Kingdom. In addition to being a partner at Manchester United, he is also the founder, president and largest shareholder of INEOS, which is a petrochemical industry.

“These standards (of cleanliness and organization) don’t come close to what I expect at INEOS, and we are a petrochemical industry. Manchester United is an elite sporting organization. It’s a small thing on many levels, but if an organization doesn’t have standards and discipline, you will not be successful”, points out Ratcliffe.
