Marcelo returned to Fluminense in February last year and was important for the club in the campaign for the unprecedented Libertadores title. He started eight games in the competition, including the final against Boca Juniors at Maracanã.
The team led by Fernando Diniz takes to the field this Thursday (9), against Colo-Colo, at 9pm (Brasília time), at the Monumental David Arellano Stadium, for the fourth round of the Libertadores da América group stage.
Fluminense is the undefeated leader of Group A, with five points. So far, they have beaten Colo-Colo, in Rio de Janeiro, and drawn with Alianza Lima and Cerro Porteño away from home.
