The latest diplomatic disagreements between Brazil and Israel did not interfere in bilateral business relations. Currently, the Brazilian Air Force has three contracts with the Middle Eastern country. And the Navy informs that there are two contracts with the Israeli company ARES in progress – for adaptations of optronic handles for the Patrol Vessels “Maracanã” and Oceânico Class Amazonas. The aforementioned contracts are under the responsibility of the Navy Weapons Systems Directorate. As recorded by Coluna, the Army also has three contracts: for REMAX towers (R$380 million); SISFRON cameras (R$32 million); and the UT30 shooting tower (R$80 million), all from Israeli suppliers. The contracts for the three Forces are prior to October 2023.
