Everyone knows the bad relationship that exists between the state president and the national leader of the Citizen Movement and this is reflected in the responsibility that each of them carries to maintain power in Jalisco, although the truth is, the total political responsibility for what What happens electorally in that entity is Alfaro himself and therefore, he will have to bear the imminent defeat.
The president’s stubbornness to keep Diego Monraz in his position as Secretary of Transportation and Mobility entails electoral political costs whose results will be seen on June 2.
Monraz has built an illicit network of parallel businesses under his control that have to do with fuel theft, with the Macrobús and the Peribús, in addition to the sale of Foton trucks that the state government supports with the non-refundable advance.
The racketeering of the transporters’ money is shameless and the subsidy that the government gives to the transporters takes up to 60 days to return.
A few days ago, the people of Jalisco woke up with the news that the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic carried out a search in the Peribús operating yards (where the majority operators are the brothers Hugo Maximiliano and Jorge Humberto Higareda of the Vamioneros Alliance and linked to Diego Monraz) to seize more than 31,700 liters of hydrocarbon.
The illegal storage of this hydrocarbon was ensured by the Prosecutor’s Office and an investigation file was opened for this crime and any resulting ones.
The question that is obvious is what was that fuel doing in a facility where the government of Enrique Alfaro has influence through the Ministry of Transportation and Roads headed by Diego Monraz?
The FGR’s investigations did not stop there, since days after this operation it carried out another one in a motor transportation company located in San Martín de las Flores, in Tlaquepaque, which was secured and soon that institution will report on the result of its proceedings. .
The triangulation of public resources and “collateral businesses” through the Higareda brothers and other names with the consent of Enrique Alfaro, is investigated through federal authorities and do not doubt, dear reader, that even on the eve of the elections they will come out news about this thorny matter.
For obvious reasons, this issue of corruption is already on the desk of the main guest of the National Palace and it is to be expected that high-level instructions will be issued to not leave these crimes under the protective mantle of Alfaro.
Citizen Movement has squandered its political capital in order to preserve the whims of its national leaders and in this case of Jalisco and as the electoral panorama shows, it will be difficult for this franchise to maintain the national registration as a political party and the loss of the governorship of this entity.
After Pablo Lemus started with an advantage over his closest competitor, Claudia Delgadillo – with double digits – as the days went by, the gap closed to such a degree that currently, 50 days before the election, there is a tie technical and there is no doubt that there will be alternation in power.
The people of Jalisco wonder about the reasons that Alfaro has for overlapping and protecting Diego Monraz to such a degree that it has generated a good part of the wear and tear that the president has in relation to his failing grade that he has among his countrymen.
There is still time for Alfaro to mend the path for his political cause, but above all for the population who told him to take it to other levels of development and quality of life.
