Araruama – Created to facilitate the population’s accessibility to medical services, the “My Doctor, My Neighborhood” program is an initiative of the City of Araruama, through the Municipal Health Department. In the month of April, four locations will be covered: Mataruna, Norival Carvalho, Sobradinho and Iguabinha.
“My Doctor, My Neighborhood” is another important piece of equipment in the Saúde Acolhedora project, which has programs such as Casa Saúde and Fisio Casa, with a focus on combining basic health care and the generation of work and income.
The program was created in December 2023 and has a fully equipped bus that provides itinerant services to various locations in the municipality, continuing investments in humanized care in municipal public health.
To receive care, parents or guardians must present the child’s identification document — such as birth record or identity —, SUS card and proof of address.
