One injured, one arrested in Monday crash – Boulder Daily Camera

One driver went to the hospital and police arrested the other driver on an unrelated charge Monday morning after a crash involving a white Cadillac and a gold Subaru near 17th Avenue and Collyer Street.

Longmont police responded to a report of an injury crash at 6:17 a.m., according to Longmont Public Safety spokeswoman Robin Ericson. The white Cadillac was driving northbound on Collyer Street when the accident happened, Ericson said. The female driver of the white Cadillac left the crash and ran north on Collyer Street. Police found her in the 1800 block of Collyer Street.

Police arrested the woman after finding that she had an outstanding warrant for failure to comply –  second degree domestic violence assault  – strangulation. The woman also was cited for careless driving resulting in injury, leaving the scene of an accident involving injury and failure to notify police of accident.
