Rio- The Civil Police arrested seven people in the act and closed two clandestine call centers that applied the payroll loan scam, in Nilópolis, Baixada Fluminense, this Thursday (25). The action was carried out by agents from the Special Police Station for Assistance to Elderly People (DEAPTI).
According to the police, the team went to Av. Getulio Moura, in the Olinda neighborhood, where they found the offices of different groups. Criminals were operating there, offering fraudulent transactions.
Seven people were taken to DEAPTI, including a woman with other records for similar crimes. All were arrested red-handed for the crime of criminal association. Computers were seized and will be used to carry out investigations. The Civil Police reported that the prisoners are at the disposal of the Justice Department.
