A police helicopter has been called to aid the search for a missing man.
Police are concerned for Rafick Mohammad who was last seen in the Northfleet area since 8.30am today.
Officers are worried about the welfare of the 30-year-old who is described as being 6ft 4ins tall.
He is also said to have black hair usually tied into a ponytail with the sides shaved.
Mr Mohammad also has a rose tattoo on his neck and four gold teeth – two at the top and two at the bottom.
He was last wearing blue combat trousers, a blue zip-up fleece, and blue/pink Adidas trainers and has links to the Swanscombe area.
The helicopter was heard circling the area earlier this morning.
