Rio – Disque Denúncia released a poster this Saturday (27), asking for information that will help the Civil Police locate and arrest Geonário Fernandes Pereira Moreno, Genario da Guaxa, head of drug trafficking in Belford Roxo and the Trio de Ouro community , in São João de Meriti, in Baixada Fluminense. Agents are also looking for drug traffickers known as DN, Coração and Novinho. The group was allegedly involved in the death of a motorbike driver in the region.
According to a case pending in court, on December 8, 2023, drug traffickers shot Leandro Gonçalves de Souza, on Rua Senador Azeredo, in the California neighborhood, in Nova Iguaçu, and the man ended up dying. The crime was ordered by Geonário, in retaliation for the victim, who had transported a man “burned in the locality”, which displeased criminals in the community. The bandits are linked to the Third Pure Command (TCP).
Arrest warrants were issued against Genario, DN, Coração and Novinho by the 4th Criminal Court of the District of Nova Iguaçu, for the crimes of simple and qualified homicide. There are other warrants against the drug kingpin for criminal organization, robbery and murder. Searches by the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF) and the 52nd DP (Nova Iguaçu) continue to arrest the criminals.
