There is no updated statistics on how many people go hungry in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The latest survey that is part of the second National Survey on Food Insecurity produced by the Brazilian Network for Research in Sovereignty and Food Security Rede PENSSAN reached the 2.8 million mark. The situation has worsened. Today (18), councilor Priscilla Canedo carries out a technical visit with the Alerj Food Safety Commission with MST deputy Marina to the Restaurante do Povo in São Gonçalo. The objective is to monitor and evaluate the sanitary conditions of the restaurant, in addition to the quantity and quality of food, important topics for food safety, an agenda of MST deputy Marina. The idea is to know the reality across the state.
Butantan collects spiders and scorpions in Resende

The Nuclear Fuel Factory of Indústrias Nucleares do Brasil, in Resende, receives, this week, representatives from the Butantan Institute who will collect spiders and scorpions there. The material collected allows the development of serums and vaccines, which make up the medicines used in the National Immunization Program, of the Ministry of Health. This is only possible because INB has spider attraction areas focused on reducing the presence of these arachnids in the factory .
Madonna 1: Boats on the beach during show
