Máynez promises a new dam in Nuevo León
In his speech, the presidential candidate spoke about the water crisis that Nuevo León is experiencing and promised to build a new dam in order to improve the Potable water supplywith which he promised to guarantee service for the next 50 years.
“Let us build a dam with triple the capacity of the Libertad dam. We want the three years to come to be the three years that give Nuevo León water for the next 50 years,” Álvarez said in his speech.
“From Santa Catarina we announce that The 3 best years in its history are coming for Nuevo León. We will advance like never before in water infrastructure, electromobility, roads, connectivity and security,” he added.
Just last week Álvarez Máynez was visiting Nuevo León, to participate in a joint ‘pegoteo’ with the candidate for mayor of Monterrey, Mariana Rodríguez.
