Belford Roxo – This Saturday morning (27), the Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized around 58 kilos of cocaine, divided into packages (pins), and more than 70 kilos of marijuana, in tablets and packets. The action took place on Rodovia Presidente Dutra (BR-116), in Belford Roxo, in Baixada Fluminense, and a woman was arrested with the drugs in a car.
At around 10 am, PRF agents saw a car traveling at low speed traveling in the left lane, preventing faster vehicles from passing. This attitude of the driver led to the approach of the vehicle, and procedures for checking documents and inspections of mandatory equipment began.
During the operation, the police smelled a strong odor of marijuana in the car. A detailed search was carried out inside the car, finding narcotic substances similar to marijuana and cocaine packaged in fractions, totaling 1200 15g cocaine pins, 1600 25g cocaine pins, 1920 25g marijuana packets, 300 20g packets and 800 units of 15g and 7kg marijuana packets in marijuana tablets, in addition to two cell phones.
The police incident was registered at the 54th DP (Belford Roxo).
