Oysters River – On social media, resident Pedro Henrique shared his outburst after being dropped off by a public transport driver from Rio das Ostras, around 2.7 km from his disembarkation point. Pedro was returning from work around 10:30 pm when he was surprised by the driver of the van on line 01 Âncora X Cidade Praiana (blue), who refused to take him to his final destination, leaving him on foot far from his residence.

Pedro expressed his frustration, highlighting the need for enforcement measures by local authorities to ensure adequate compliance with public transport services.

Another resident, Mariana Coutinho, also shared her outrage. She recounted a similar experience, in which she boarded a van headed to the Shopping Plaza at around 1 p.m. However, during the journey, the driver informed her that they would not go to the shopping mall, forcing her to get off outside the stop, in the middle of the traffic signal.

Mariana still faced difficulties on the way home, waiting almost two hours for the van and realizing that line 06, which was supposed to pass through the shopping mall and Nova Cidade, was not following its route correctly. As a result, she had to resort to other transportation options to get home, facing additional inconvenience.
