City of Saquarema stands out once again in job creation in MarchDisclosure/Saquarema City Hall

Saquarema – The data on formal employment for the month of March 2024 has been released from the Ministry of Labor’s new General Register of Employed and Unemployed Persons (CAGED) and, once again, Saquarema is highlighted, with the creation of 127 new jobs of work, obtaining the third best index in the Lagos Region.
With this result, Saquarema accumulated, in the last 12 months, the creation of 2,067 new jobs with a formal contract, which is equivalent to a 17% increase in the total number of jobs available in the city. During the period, Saquarema had the 5th highest rate of new job openings in the entire State of Rio de Janeiro and ranked first among the municipalities in the Lagos Region.

These good results are the result of numerous actions put into practice by the City of Saquarema, such as offering completely free courses and seminars, aimed at improving and training businesspeople and workers, in addition to the creation of the “Emprega Saquá” job bank.
“Today we are sure that we are on the right path with the practices we have adopted to provide access to knowledge, free of charge and continuously, to improve the training of business owners and their contractors, and by creating “Emprega Saquá”, establishing a official bridge between job supply and demand”, commented Mayor Manoela Peres.
The numbers that have been obtained by the municipality thus reflect the consequent professional improvement of employers and employees, in a process that has been generating more income and a better quality of life for everyone involved.
