Maricá – A harasser tried to rape a woman this Thursday morning (18) in Itaocaia Valley, and was arrested by the Military Police.
According to information, the man approached the victim who was walking and, with her genitals uncovered and using a knife, attacked her, she began to scream, which caught the attention of people who called the Military Police, who quickly arrived at the scene, but the criminal had fled and information was passed on to the police that he had entered a nearby bush.
Then, the agents carried out a sweep of the forest and found the man identified as Walace Oliveira de Souza, who was arrested and taken to the 82nd DP in the Center of Maricá.
The criminal was then taken to the Flagrant Center in Niterói.
