Rio – Police officers from the 30th BPM (Teresópolis) arrested, on Friday night (26), a man suspected of attacking his wife in Teresópolis, in the Mountain Region. According to the Military Police, in the action, agents seized weapons, knives and 47 ammunition.
According to the corporation, the military received a report of domestic violence and went to Rua Dolores Duran, in the Quinta da Barra neighborhood. At the scene, the suspect was arrested and the police found, in addition to the ammunition, a revolver, shotguns, BB gun, replica weapons and two tactical knives.
When questioned, the PM did not say whether the prisoner was a police officer or whether he carried a weapon. The report also contacted the Civil Police, but has not yet received a response.
The man, whose identity was not revealed, was taken to the 110th DP (Teresópolis), where he will be available to the courts.
