Prior to the start of the State Peacebuilding Roundtable in Fresnillo, Monreal Ávila announced the arrival of 1,058 new elements of the Mexican Army and the National Guard (GN), additional to those already operating throughout the state; 50 percent of them will be deployed in Fresnillo and the other 50 percent in the rest of Zacatecas.
