They arrest Luis ‘N’, alleged feminicide, in the mountains of Sonora – El Financiero

Neighbors alerted the police when they heard screams and shots at Yamileth’s house, while Luis Ángel ‘N’, alias ‘Pinolio’, fled the scene of the attack and was later detained by authorities in the mountain area from the municipality of Villa Pesqueira this Tuesday.

The authorities deployed an operation to locate the alleged feminicide who fled in a white Chevrolet pick-up vehicle, according to testimonies from the victim’s mother.

The alleged feminicide fled to the town of Bacanorawhere he allegedly ran over a minor, in addition to overturning on a dirt road due to high speed.

Witnesses reported that the accused abandoned the pickup after the overturn and threatened local residents at gunpoint to take over another unit to continue escaping through the Sierra de Sonora.


Elements of the National Guard, the Ministerial Criminal Investigation Agency (AMIC) and the police deployed an operation in surrounding towns such as Nácori Chico, Mazatán and Villa Pesqueira in search of the suspect.

The arrest of ‘Pinolio’ was carried out by elements of the Ministerial Criminal Investigation Agency (AMIC), at the height of the “La Barita” mine.

Through its official networks, the Secretary of Public Security of Sonora confirmed that the arrest was achieved at kilometer 0.99 of the highway that goes from Sahuaripa to Mazatlanin the eastern part of the state.

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) of Sonora carries out the respective investigations to determine the reasons and circumstances that clarify the death of Yamileth, who was the mother of two minors, a 4-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy. years.

Data from the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP) indicate that between January 1 and April 16 of this year, a total of eight cases of feminicide have been registered in Sonora and with this there would be nine cases.
