The afternoon of this Saturday, April 27, a man was murdered outside a shopping center located in the municipality of Tlalnepantla, in the Mexico state. It was Luis Antonio Gutiérrez Herrera, former director of administration of the government of Tlalnepantla.
The first reports indicate that the former official was intercepted by several motorcyclists when he was traveling in a truck on Avenida de los Maestros, on the borders of Tlalnepantla and Atizapán. Unfortunately, no man was arrested, since they fled immediately after carrying out the attack, according to information from TV Forum.

A man was executed in front of his family, as he left Sentura Plaza, in Tlalnepantla, Edomex.

The murder occurred just when the man was traveling with his family, aboard a luxury van.
The area has already been cordoned off by elements of the Mexican Security Secretariat, a place in which at least 16 shell casings were found. Subsequently, the services arrived at this place forensic doctors to carry out the lifting of the body and begin the investigations.

Fortunately two women who were aboard said truck managed to survive to the gunshotsbut they have been attended to by elements of the Red Cross.
These events occurred just 24 hours after the local electoral process began in the State of Mexico. It is expected that in the next few hours the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico and the authorities will release more details about this violent attack.
Strong wave of murders in Mexico

The list of the most violent states in the country is headed by Guanajuato, with 74 intentional homicides, followed by Mexico state, with 49; Baja California and Michoacan, with 33, and Puebla, 31.
Chiapas accumulated 28 intentional homicides in the month, while Chihuahua had 26, Morelos and Nuevo León, 21; Mexico City and Tabasco, 20; Jalisco, 19; while Quintana Roo and Sonora, 18 each.
