Veracruz, April 27.- The and the candidates for the Veracruz governorship accusations were made against each other about illicit enrichment or corruption during the first debate organized by the Local Electoral Public Organization.
The candidate of Let’s Keep Making History for Veracruz, Rocío Nahlepointed out the Strength and Heart candidate for Veracruz, Jose Yuneshaving property, receiving money from the State Government and having an investigation file for multiple crimes.
José Yunes Zorrilla, in turn, accused her of illicit enrichment and of having accusations for the works of the Dos Bocas refinery. The Citizen Movement candidate, Hipólito Deschampsmade multiple accusations against both of whom he said have engaged in acts of corruption.
In this sense, candidate Nahle assured that her opponent has wanted to accuse her of multiple crimes because he is only trying to accuse her of what he has done, which is why she assured that all your asset declarations are public and ruled out that he had incurred in acts of illicit enrichment.
On the contrary, he stated that he is working during this campaign to make multiple proposals to improve the situation in which Veracruz residents live.
For his part, Yunes Zorrilla dedicated most of his participation in the debate to making accusations against his opponent, whom he also criticized regarding his origin and his work as Secretary of Energy.
Meanwhile, Deschamps made reference to the fact that both candidates are or have been supported by the former PRI governor. Javier Duarte de Ochoa. He also indicated that his governments would be a continuation of the governments emanating from his political parties that in his opinion have not worked to improve the situation in which the people of Veracruz live.
Festivals, social programs and other proposals
During the different rounds, various proposals were presented for the Veracruz entity, for example, the candidate of the Let’s Keep Making History for Veracruz coalition, Rocío Nahle, assured that she will establish a series of festivals in conjunction with the original towns to promote the regions in a touristic manner and enhance cultural themes.
He pointed out that they seek to attract a greater number of people who generate economic spill as well as rescue the culture of the peoplefor which he said a monthly one is being planned in conjunction with said indigenous peoples.
“Festivals every month, they are different types of festivals in different areas of Veracruz and they are all hand in hand with our native peoples, this is a project that we are already developing with native peoples and indigenous communities,” he indicated.
In addition, he highlighted other proposals such as the creation of a social program for heads of family and support for the various social programs that have been proposed by the federation.
For his part, José Yunes Zorrilla assured that they will seek to create an agricultural program and credits will be provided to people dedicated to the field, in addition to attracting investment to develop the state of Veracruz.
Deschamps Espino Barros based his proposals on the fight against poverty, which has been his focus throughout the campaign. For which he stated that jobs will be generated and entrepreneurs will be trained.
