The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit will apply a slight increase in the fiscal stimulus for Magna gasoline for next week, according to the publication of this April 19 in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF).
The fiscal support for the payment of the Special Tax on Products and Services (IEPS) on Magna gasoline will go to 17.61 percent, from 13.88 percent the previous week, according to the adjustment made by the Treasury.
For this year, the Treasury set the IEPS for ‘green’ gasoline at 6.17 pesos. This means that with the fiscal stimulus of 17.61 percent, the Government will ‘push’ 1.08 pesos to motorists for each liter of Magna they put in their cars.
The Premium remains at zero, just like the entire year, since Tax authorities He still hasn’t ‘unemployed’ with the fiscal support for ‘red’ gasoline. The last time the agency provided support for the payment of the IEPS for this fuel was in October of last year.
Regarding diesel, fiscal support comes lighter with 1.74 percent for this last week of April, in contrast to 3.67 percent last week.
This means that the Treasury will ‘put’ you 0.11 cents and you will cover 6.66 pesos for each liter of this fuel.
The new fiscal stimuli for gasoline and diesel will come into force starting tomorrow Saturday April 20 And till Friday April 26, according to the DOF.
The Government explains that the IEPS is the tax that must be paid for the sale and import of products such as gasoline, diesel, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, soft drinks and junk food.
In the case of fuels, the IEPS is paid for each liter of gasoline you buy. Every week, the tax authority updates this stimulus based on the exchange rate (the Mexican peso), the international reference and logistics costs.
