Angra dos Reis – Two accidents were recorded this Thursday, (18), on the Rio-Santos highway, in Angra dos Reis/RJ. Three people were injured. The victims were taken to the Japuíba Municipal Hospital (HMJ).
The first accident was at km 498, near the Monsuaba neighborhood. According to the PRF, the van lost control and collided with a fixed object, left the highway and fell into a cliff. At the time of the accident it was raining in the region. Only the driver was inside the vehicle. He was rescued by the Fire Department and taken to HMJ, with a broken leg.
The other accident involved a bus from a private company and a motorcycle, at km 478, near the Camorim Pequeno neighborhood, towards the city center. Two people (women) injured and taken to HMJ. The health unit did not update the medical report of the accident victims.
Traffic in the section where the collision occurred, bus and motorcycle, was flowing using the stop and go system. There was slowness in both directions. After treating the victims, the road towards the city center was still blocked.
