Araruama – On Saturday night (27), a 24-year-old man was arrested for drug trafficking on Estrada do Engenho Grande. The element — identified as “DG”, already had previous criminal records for theft and reception.
According to the incident, the operation that resulted in the arrest began following complaints about drug trafficking in the locality. Based on this information, the team from the Tactical Action Group (GAT 2), wing C, carried out a tactical siege in the region and managed to make the arrest.
During the approach, 59 cocaine capsules, 9 bags of cocaine, five rocks of crack, a cell phone and drug accounting notes were found.
The criminal was taken to the 118th DP (Araruama), where he was charged with drug trafficking and association for drug trafficking and remained in prison.
