The Republican candidate for president of the United States, Donald Trump, canceled a rally scheduled for this Saturday night (20) in Wilmington, North Carolina, which would be the first since the start of his trial in New York.
“We want to make sure everyone is safe above all else, so we were asked to ask people to leave the area and seek shelter,” Trump explained in a phone call broadcast at the scene, where the Republican’s supporters were waiting for him under dark clouds.
“It looks like there’s thunder and lightning and it’s a pretty big storm. I think we’re going to have to postpone it. I’m very sad,” Trump lamented.
