Rio – After winning four consecutive gold medals, the United States will have maximum strength in men’s basketball at the Paris Olympic Games in 2024. Names like LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant will lead the new “dream team” of the American national team, according to information from journalist Adrian Wojnarowski, from the American ESPN.
LeBron James, 39, will be the oldest player on the team. The Los Angeles Lakers star will compete in the Olympic Games for the fourth time in his career. He won bronze in Athens 2004 and gold in Beijing 2008 and London 2012. Another name that will compete in the Games for the fourth time will be Kevin Durant, from the Phoenix Suns, who was champion in the London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 editions.
On the other hand, veteran Stephen Curry, 36, will compete in his first Olympics. The Golden State Warriors point guard received invitations to the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 editions, but declined. Now, the four-time NBA champion and three-point record holder is looking to win an unprecedented Olympic medal to complete his trophy cabinet.
In addition to the veterans, the list includes young people who already dominate the American basketball league. Names like Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Haliburton will complete the cast.
