São Pedro da Aldeia – The Municipality of São Pedro da Aldeia, through the Municipal Department of Culture, will begin the public consultation to implement the Aldir Blanc National Policy for Promoting Culture (PNAB) – Aldir Blanc 2, this Monday (6). The participation of the city’s artists and cultural agents is essential to send suggestions by May 23rd, accessing the electronic form available on the website www.cultura.pmspa.rj.gov.br.

The municipal secretary of Culture, Thiago Marques, highlighted the importance of civil society participation to ensure that actions reflect the interests and needs of the artistic and cultural class in the village. The public consultation is the first stage in the process of implementing the Aldir Blanc 2 Law and aims to collaborate with the models, formats and categories of proposals to be executed through the financing mechanisms provided for in the Law.

The Federal Government transferred more than 700 thousand reais to the municipality for the implementation of public actions in notices and open calls for cultural workers, as well as for direct execution.

The proposals and/or suggestions presented will be analyzed by the Municipal Council for Cultural Policy of São Pedro da Aldeia with the aim of democratizing access to the resources of the Aldir Blanc 2 Law and completing the Resources Execution Plan (PAAR), involving public management and civil society.

The PNAB – Aldir Blanc Law 2, established by Law No. 14,399, of July 8, 2022, aims to promote culture in all states, municipalities and the Federal District, providing for the transfer of resources until 2027 to encourage the promotion of culture; guarantee the financing and maintenance of artistic-cultural agents, spaces and actions; and democratize access and artistic production in municipalities, including in their peripheral, urban and rural areas.
