Madrid – One of Real Madrid’s main players, Vini Jr, met with former world number 1 tennis player, Rafael Nadal, in the capital of Spain. The Brazilian published a photo alongside the Spaniard, an avowed fan of the Merengue club, on social media.
The duo holds, in the record, a shirt belonging to the Brazilian from Real Madrid, with a dedication on the back of the uniform.
Close to retirement, Nadal had already commented on future plans previously and, one of them, would be to preside over Real Madrid. The athlete said it was not a dream, but confessed to being open to the possibility. “I guess time will tell,” he declared at the time.
The 37-year-old tennis player is in the Spanish capital to compete in the Madrid Masters 1000, which started last Monday, April 22nd.
Nadal debuts in the tournament this Thursday (25), when he takes the court against the American Darwin Blanch, just 16 years old. The Spaniard commented on his expectations for the duel at a press conference.
