The weather is not in good shape this Thursday in the east of the country, while the north-eastern quarter will be entitled to nice clearings throughout the day. Despite the sun, temperatures will remain cool and snowflakes are even expected at low altitudes.
In the morning, the weather will be calm over the western half and the far north of the country, with temperatures ranging from 5°C in Lille and Amiens to 10°C in Brest and Bordeaux. The eastern half will experience cloudy skies with showers and showers. Only 3°C will be on the thermometer in Aurillac, compared to 5°C in Auxerre and Strasbourg and up to 12°C in Biarritz. Snowfall may drop early in the morning to around 400 to 500 m on the Massif Central, 500 to 700 m on the Vosges, Jura and Alps.

The storms could extend further to the center towards Vichy and Aurillac. The weather will remain dry in Languedoc-Roussillon. Around the Mediterranean, the wind could blow up to 80 km/h in gusts. Cotentin and Brittany will remain under cloudless sunshine, according to today’s forecasts, with 14°C forecast in Brest.
In the evening and at night, the weather should stabilize with the return of clearings throughout the territory except in the north of France. Some scattered rain could fall in Lille. Corsica will in turn be exposed to the risk of storms.
In Île-de-France, the weather is overcast this morning with cool temperatures, around 5°C, except in the northwest of the region, where the sun is predominant. The day will continue with clearings across the whole of Île-de-France, and temperatures reaching 13°C.
