The shift is happening. After days with temperatures significantly below seasonal normsthe maximums begin to rise again, according to Meteo France. But this Thursday is also accompanied by a gradual generalization of clouds, which will give more and more rain in the coming days.
This morning, there were fewer frosts in France. Some regions in the northwest, east and center of the country were still affected, but the area concerned is in clear decline compared to the start of the week. In the sky, a vast southwest quarter is under clouds. Showers occur, mainly on an axis going from Bordeaux to Aurillac (Gironde). The rest of the country is under blue skies.
In the afternoon, the clouds are gaining ground. They also settled in the West and gradually reached the interior of the country. Despite this, the majority of regions continue to experience clearings. It is in the South-East that the sun is most present.
Temperatures are gradually getting closer season averages. In the northern half, it is 9°C in Alsace to 14°C, generally 2°C to 3°C below normal. In the southern half they range from 12°C to 17°C, with the exception of the Massif Central. In the warmest zone, Hérault, they will be in season; elsewhere they will still remain 3°C to 4°C lower.
In the evening and next night, the clouds will finally take over in all regions. The showers will be more and more numerous. This type of weather will match the trend over the next few days.
In Île-de-France, the sky will be clear in the morning. During the day, the clouds will be more and more present before the clearing disappears completely as the evening and night progress. Maximum temperatures will range from 13°C to 14°C, approximately 3°C below average.
