President Andrés Manuel López Obrador led his ‘morning’ conference this Monday, April 25 from National Palace.
When will AMLO’s last ‘mañanera’ be?
President López Obrador announced that next September 30, 2024 will be the last ‘morning’ conference that will give National Palace.
When questioned about his ‘Goodbye Tour‘ in which he will tour the 32 entities of Mexico after the elections on June 2 and before leaving power on October 1, the president assured that his last conference “will be very special.”
He noted that on September 1 he will deliver the last government report and the 15th of the same month will be the last. Cry of Independence of his six-year term.
“At night formally until 12 at night I finish and the next day’s ceremony will deliver the presidential sash (…) then I retire and I will not participate in any event or conference,” he said.
When will AMLO have the train that goes from AIFA to Buenavista ready?
The Executive indicated that he is supervising the Insurgent Trainwhich goes from Toluca to Tacubaya, in CDMX which may be inaugurated ‘before the Government ends’.
He announced that the suburban train from Buenavista to AIFA is also almost ready and assured that he plans to have the work ready between June and August.
The extension of the Suburban Train will connect with the airport in Santa Lucía and will have an extension of 42 kilometers, 23 of which correspond to the branch that leaves from Lechería.
The total journey from Buenavista to AIFA will be 40 minutes and it is estimated that it will benefit 120 thousand people.
He also assured that this weekend he will continue to supervise the Section of the Mayan Train.
AMLO: The most important thing about his ‘morning’ conferences this week
