Don’t even think about leaving the house without sunscreen and an umbrella, this Thursday a hot environment over the national territorywith maximum temperatures higher than 45 degrees Celsiusas reported by the National Meteorological Service (SMN) of the National Water Commission (Conagua).
This will occur because the heat wave that runs through the southwest and north of the country will continue.
In which entities of the country will it be hot?
The SMN report predicts that this April 18 they will remain high temperatures in different entities of the country such as: Campeche, Chiapas, Guerrero, Michoacán, Oaxaca, Tabasco and Veracruz, where temperatures of up to 45 degrees are forecast.
While in some areas of the country there will be maximum temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees in Coahuila, Colima, northern Hidalgo, Jalisco, Morelos, Nayarit, Nuevo León, San Luis PotosÃ, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Yucatán and Zacatecas.
They are also planned temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees in Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Durango, the southwest of the State of Mexico, Guanajuato, north and southwest of Puebla, Querétaro and Quintana Roo.
As well as temperatures of 30 to 35 degrees in Mexico City and Tlaxcala.
Therefore, it is recommended that the population take preventive measures such as avoiding prolonged exposure to solar radiation, hydrating properly as well as wearing cool clothing and using sunscreen to avoid heat stroke.
In addition to paying special attention to chronically ill people, children and older adults, as well as following the instructions of the Health and Civil Protection sectors.
