Rio – The Brazilian women’s team has a defined opponent for the last friendlies before the Paris Olympics, which take place between July 26th and August 11th. The team led by Arthur Elias will face Jamaica again, in two games that will take place on the next FIFA Date, June 1st and 4th, in Recife and Salvador.
Brazil and Jamaica faced each other in the last World Cup, in 2023. The Jamaicans were responsible for eliminating the Seleção in the first phase of the competition with a 0-0 draw..
At the Olympics, the Brazilian team is in Group C and will face Nigeria, Japan and Spain. Coach Arthur Elias will announce the athletes called up for the two matches against Jamaica on May 10th.
