Why did the president speak about the case again this Thursday? It was due to the publication of a video in which the group of hooded people responded to López Obrador and explained why they are hiding his identity.
What did the group of hooded men say to AMLO?
“This is not a montage, this is real. What you are seeing as hooded people is real. We are hooded by reprisals “What’s against us, because the opponents from up there don’t want to see us here,” says one of the hooded men in the video.
People claim that they do not belong to any organized crime group and that they organized to protect their communities from criminals.

What was AMLO’s response in the ‘morning’?

Regarding Claudia Sheinbaum, Morena’s presidential candidate ruled out that her team was going to file a complaint against the group of hooded people and ‘passed the buck’ to the Government of Chiapas.
“Let’s see, it’s not my place to investigate what it was, who were those who were at the exit of Motozintla in Chiapas, obviously it’s up to the authorities. We have not filed any complaint nor are we going to file one.”he said last Tuesday.
