Ana Maria Braga, presenter of the “Mais Você” program on Globo’s mornings for more than 20 years, reacted to rumors that she was retiring from the network. In a video shared this week, she denied the rumors and stated: “I’m at Globo and I’ll stay at Globo.”
In an interview on the “Fantástico” program, Ana Maria Braga recalled her battle against cancer, diagnosed as a tumor in the anus region in 2001, caused by the HPV virus. She highlighted the importance of not feeling guilty about the disease and highlighted the naturalness of female sexuality.
The communicator underwent treatments such as chemotherapy and overcame the disease. Throughout her life, she faced other challenges with tumors, including skin cancer in 1991 and lung cancer in 2015 and 2020. In 2022, Ana Maria revealed that she also had breast cancer, which was not disclosed at the time.
