Boulder police are working to identify the owner of a dog who was abandoned at Boulder Reservoir Sunday night.
According to the Boulder Police Department’s post on X,the dog was abandoned at the Boulder Reservoir near the north shore parking lot at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

A person in an older model Honda Civic was last seen leaving the dog in the parking lot.
The dog was described as a young, black, and tan German shepherd husky mix who is a neutered male with one blue eye.
The dog did not have a collar or a microchip, according to the post.
