Day McCarthy will face Bruno Gagliasso in court this week in the first criminal hearing of the case, but their meeting could be postponed. The influencer responds for insult and racism against the actor’s daughter with Giovanna Ewbank, Titi.

In February this year, McCarthy was ordered to pay R$180,000 in compensation to the family of artists in the civil area. The value will undergo monetary correction and should be close to R$500,000.

However, the hearing that will take place next Thursday (9), at 3 pm, refers to the criminal case in which Day is a defendant for the crime of racism. In this case, she will be represented by lawyer Gil Ortuzal.

According to information from columnist Fabia Oliveira, from Metrópoles, this hearing will be hybrid, via videoconference, as McCarthy lives outside Brazil. Although Gagliasso’s presence alongside his lawyers at the Federal Court in Rio de Janeiro is expected, the column does not know whether the actor will be present, as, as announced on his social networks, Bruno tested positive.

If the Public Prosecutor’s Office dismisses Bruno Gagliasso’s testimony, the judge could sentence Day McCarthy on the same day.
