Buffalo Grove pediatric clinic finds success with multi-disciplinary approach

The owner of a pediatric therapy clinic in northwest suburban Buffalo Grove has found so much success with the team’s multi-disciplinary approach that she’s needing to expand just to keep up with a growing list of clients.

Angie Harisiadis and the team at IN2GREAT Pediatric Therapy Services combine physical, occupational, speech, behavioral, mental health and sensory therapy all under one roof. The mix supports the goal that Harisiadis and her husband, Socrates, had when opening the clinic: to support each child with every disciplinary approach available.

The clinic services children with learning disabilities, ADHD and who are on the autism spectrum.

“Our job as therapists in this clinic is to meet kids and families where they’re at,” Harisiadis said.

Suzanne Volpe and her son, Rocco, are among the hundreds of families served by the clinic. Rocco was on the spectrum and non-verbal but saw his life improve after receiving therapy from the clinic, his mother said.

“He’s a different kid. I feel like he’s really come into who he is supposed to be. This is not just a clinic. It’s like he belongs here,” Volpe said.

The staff at IN2GREAT believe there’s no one recipe for success. While it’s all individual, it does take a family of support catered to their specific needs.

“It’s really eye-opening to parents,” Socrates Harisiadis said. “They learn so much. … They can relate to what’s happening at home and take a different approach to make their lives much smoother.”
