Ferrugem will be one of the attractions of Baixada em Foco at Parque Gericinó on Saturday in Nilópolis | Nilópolis

Nilópolis – To celebrate Baixada Day – celebrated on April 30th -, Sesc RJ will promote Baixada em Foco, and offer the public lots of music, a football tournament, fun on inflatable toys, auctions and much more. The Gericinó Natural Park, in Nilópolis, will be the point of all these activities, next Saturday (27th), starting at 4 pm, with performances by the singer Ferrugem, as well as the group Chega na Moral, the city’s creation, the forró do Pimenta of Kingdom. All for free.

The party will continue on Sunday (28), with a show by Roberta Barreto and her band, starting at 3pm. The Nilopolitan singer will entertain fellow countrymen and residents of neighboring cities by performing MPB hits and samba classics. But, from 7:30 am, various activities begin.

Rust

The singer promises to shake hearts with the song ‘Me blocking’, a big hit in his repertoire at the moment. She talks about the sadness of someone suffering from the end of a relationship, of the woman who blocks her on social media. Ferrugem will also perform songs by Arlindo Cruz, Alcione, SPC and Tim Maia, as well as songs that marked his career.

The singer’s interest in pagoda began at the age of 13. Son of backing vocalist Maristela Failde, he bought a tantã and started playing and composing his own songs, starting to publish them on the internet, which helped him make important contacts to start his artistic career.

Ferrugem released his debut album ‘Climatizar’ in 2015. Two years later, the album ‘Seja o que Deus Quiser’ appeared. But national visibility only came after the release of his first DVD ‘Prazer, eu sou Ferrugem’, released in 2018. The album earned him a Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Samba and Pagode Album category.

Black pepper

The presentations by the group, originally formed by residents of Baixada Fluminense, bring a delicious mix of various styles such as xote, baião, xaxado and maracatu, with In addition to its own songs, Pimenta do Reino guarantees in its repertoire classics by Luiz Gonzaga, Jacson do Pandeiro, Alceu Valença and Zé Ramalho. Pimenta do Reino will also entertain the public with five original songs.

Formed in 2002, the group’s lead singer is musician Daniel Guerra. On their third CD ‘Let me be your boyfriend’, the artists had the participation of Elba Ramalho and Trio Nordestino. And, in 2022, they released the music video ‘A Culpa é Sua Amor’, with music by Guerra, by winning the Mais Videoclipe BXD competition, aimed at artists from Baixada Fluminense and promoted by EncontrArte Audiovisual.

Arrive at Morals

Made up of Pacotinho, Tavinho, Nando, Nobru and Julhão, the Nilopolitan group will entertain spectators with songs such as ‘It might be crazy for me’, ‘Why don’t you stop fooling around’, ‘Your name I wrote down in my diary’, ‘ Simple desire’, among others. It’s good to prepare the tissue.
