He President Andrés Manuel López Obrador heads his morning conference this Wednesday from the National Palace.

US government meddles in the politics of other countries, accuses AMLO

The president accused the Government of USA of meddle in the internal political affairs of other countriesjust as has happened in the history of Mexico.

“I think that what we said yesterday is enough, It is a habit of the United States Government to interfere in the internal politics of other countries, for at least two centuries. As if they were the judges of the government of the world,” he said.

This criticism of the US arises because They have questioned the position of their Government against the Power of attorney.

“They get involved in internal affairs, and they have to get involved in the issues of the differences we have with the Judiciary,” he explained.

“How are they going to talk about human rights if they allocate thousands and millions of dollars to war for the death of innocents, but we don’t get involved in that,” he added.

The president considered that in the US “they must change their foreign policy”, since “there have been very important moments (…) of respectful policies of the countries of Latin America by the United States.”

How does the State Department help Ecuador? This is what AMLO says

President López Obrador explained that The State Department has supported the government of Ecuadorspecifically in actions to combat drug trafficking.

“I have information that the State Department is helping in a plan to combat narcotics in Ecuador,” he said.

This criticism arises because The State Department did not express its support for Mexico after happening the assault on the Embassy in Ecuadorbecause he only released “an insubstantial statement.”
