Former BBB 24 participants would be prohibited from advertising on their own and have been speaking out on the web about the lack of opportunities. Many participants in other editions have criticized the stance of their new colleagues, but it is no secret that Globo changed some clauses of the contract for the reality show in 2024 and, until July this year, all types of advertising, even on social media, are managed by the Rio broadcaster.

In addition to not being able to close publis alone, even the so-called exchanges of ex-BBBs cannot be flagged. However, the column found that the amounts charged by the broadcaster would be higher than the budget of many brands that have been interested in the new celebrities, which limits the options of the formerly confined. In other words, there is work.

What would be free for former participants to disclose on their own would only be advertising involving non-profit organizations, that is, without fees, even so it has to be screened by the broadcaster.

The dream of being global

Some former BBBs have not spoken clearly about the ban on self-advertising imposed by Globo, as, according to them, they are being considered for jobs within the broadcaster, and some are even doing tests.

The column asks: weren’t the three months on and off the reality show enough to evaluate the participants? Jade Picon, for example, despite criticism of her performance in the nine o’clock soap opera, was promoted directly from the program to the role of prime time protagonist. The same happened with Rafa Kalimann, who left BBB 20 for a program that would previously be broadcast on open TV, but due to the barrage of criticism, it only lasted one season shown only on GloboPlay.

In this same crop of former participants, Fernanda and Pitel also got their own program on Multishow, as announced by one of Globo’s directors.
The Daniel Nascimento column sought Globo’s advice on the matter and the broadcaster did not comment until the end of this note. The space remains open.

Beatriz Reis and Leidy Elin are examples of former participants who would have already advertised, but the amount they received would not exceed R$15 to R$20 thousand reais. Meanwhile, what has been rumored is that the brands that closed down to have the girls promote their products would have paid Globo the sum of R$50 to R$100 thousand. In other words, one can already imagine that the division of profits would not be equal.

The Daniel Nascimento column sought advice from Globo on the matter. However, the broadcaster did not comment until the closing of this note. The space remains open.
