In an interview with Ciro Gómez Leyva, Bejarano clarified that he is a Morena militant and is currently dedicated to supporting various campaigns, including those in Mexico City, although, he said, he does not collaborate directly with Brugada, candidate to the Government of CDMX.
“As I travel a lot, I am not on Clara’s team, but we do have a person who represents our team in that campaign, which is companion Monserrat Mundac”, he clarified.
Given this, he explained that he supports all Morena candidates, so he travels to different entities and does not have enough time to attend to a single campaign: “I don’t have the time because I have been visiting many entities, we are supporting many campaigns , but We are also supporting Claralike all Morena candidates.”

During the second chilango debate, Santiago Taboada, candidate of the PRI, PAN and PRDpointed out that the former mayor of Iztapalapa had contracts for the Utopias that she built in the district with the former PRD member.
In addition, Taboada accused Bejarano of financing the Morenista’s campaign and recalled whoever was called “the lord of the leagues.”
