It depreciates 1.80% and exceeds the ceiling of 17 units vs. the dollar – El Financiero

A lower appetite for risky assets causes the mexican peso widen its losses against the dollar, as investors continue to look for clues about the direction monetary policy will take, as well as in Israel’s response to Iran after the attack the previous weekend.

According to Bloomberg data, the national currency depreciates 1.80 percent, so the exchange rate is located at 17.01 units, 29 cents more compared to the Closing on Monday, April 15.

Which currencies depreciate the most against the dollar this Tuesday?

The currencies with the most losses are the Indonesian rupiah with 2.04 percent; the brazilian real with 1.58 percent; the Colombian peso with 1.15 percent; the polish zloty with 0.97 percent, and the chilean peso with 0.96 percent.

In the money market, the yield of the 10-year Mbono in Mexico is placed at a rate of 10.34 percent, while in the United States, the yield of the 10-year bond reaches a level of 4.68 percent.
