Part of the M25 is closed due to a police-led incident.
The clockwise carriageway is shut between junction 6 for Westerham, near Sevenoaks, and Godstone, in Surrey, and junction 7 for Redhill.
Traffic is being temporarily held to allow the emergency services to deal with the incident.
Lengthy queues are backing up into the county just before junction 5.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
