Rio – Civil police officers from the 58th DP (Posse) arrested, this Thursday (28), a man in the municipality of Vila Velha, in Espírito Santo. He is accused of a homicide that occurred in 2022 in Nova Iguaçu, in Baixada Fluminense. The action was supported by the Espírito Santo Civil Police.
According to investigations, the man is a member of a militia and killed his ex-wife’s partner, then fled. Furthermore, he would be involved in other homicides, but witnesses were afraid to say what happened, for fear of reprisals.
The man was being monitored and was found in a community in the city of Vila Velha. When approached, he tried to escape by jumping from the second floor of a house, but was restrained by the agents.
