Rio – O Vasco will not be able to count on Gary Medel in the match against Red Bull Bragantino, this Wednesday (17th), at 7pm, at Nabi Abi Chedid. The defender remains in Chile and did not participate in training this Tuesday morning (16), at CT Moacyr Barbosa.
Medel traveled to Chile shortly after the victory over Grêmiolast Sunday (14), to support his family, as his mother faces a delicate health problem. The tendency is for the Cruz-Maltino captain to return to Brazil only this Wednesday.
Without Medel, coach Ramón DÃaz will be forced to make changes to the defense. The favorite to take the Chilean’s place is João Victorwho should form a defensive duo with Léo.
This Wednesday (17), Vasco will be looking for their second victory in the Brasileirão. Cruz-Maltino will have their first away match in the competition against Red Bull Bragantino.
