The Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight Against Hunger (MDS) informed that it will anticipate and facilitate the withdrawal of Bolsa Família to beneficiaries in cities affected by the storms in Rio Grande do Sul.

Due to the calamity situation in the state, payment will be unified. As a result, beneficiaries will receive payment on the first payment day scheduled in the calendar, regardless of the end of the NIS. This month, the first payment day is May 17th.

“In the face of calamity situations, the MDS promotes the unified payment of Bolsa Família. The initiative allows the breaking of the scheduling, with the release of payment of the benefit, regardless of the end of the NIS, from the first payment day foreseen in the calendar of Program.

According to the folder, Bolsa Família can be withdrawn without using a card or document (for those who have lost it), with the presentation of a Special Payment Declaration granted by the city hall.
