The hospital is expected to be large, have 102 beds, including the maternity ward, and offer emergency and urgent care, including pediatrics, Surgical and Obstetrics Center, Normal Birth Center, nursery, Surgical Clinic, Clinic General, Pre-Partum, Childbirth and Postpartum Rooms.
Hospital sectors
The group visited all five floors of HMJK and found that the top two floors are already in the finishing phase. The unit will have an X-ray sector, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Transfusion Unit, Sterilization Material Center, changing rooms. It will also have rest rooms for doctors, nurses and nursing technicians, an administration sector, a kitchen, a cafeteria and a morgue.
The population’s dream of having the largest urgency and emergency unit and the municipal maternity unit back in operation is now becoming a reality. There will also be a sterile material center, linen room and laboratory, a general surgery ward, with 27 beds, with rooms for preparing medicines and medical prescriptions, and nursing.
