His sister Laura Manaudou had been the first French torchbearer during the lighting of the flame at Olympia on April 16. Three weeks later, little brother Florent will symbolically be the first person to wear the Olympic flame on French soil. From May 8 to July 26, the flame will be carried by 10,000 torchbearers across 64 territories (including 5 overseas territories) and will pass through more than 400 cities. The route will therefore begin in Marseille where passages at the Roucas blanc marinaOlympic site for sailing, the Marseille Vélodrome, the northern districts of the city and Notre-Dame de la Garde are on the program.
