Rio – Part of a box was closed, in the early hours of this Monday (12), at the Marquês de Sapucaí Sambódromo after agents found production and storage of food in a bathroom. According to Rio Carnaval, the space did not have authorization from the Independent League of Samba Schools of Rio de Janeiro (Liesa) to install a kitchen.
The Rio Carnaval profile on X (formerly Twitter) explained that the space known as Lounge Sapucaí, located in sector 13, had its buffet closed by the Health Surveillance.
The cabin would be producing food in a bathroom. Around 500 kg of food would have been discarded during a joint action by the Public Ministry of Rio (MPRJ), the Municipal Health Surveillance Institute (Ivisa-Rio) and police officers from the 6th DP (Cidade Nova).
